He could not break out of it and these seven people killed him. Abhimanyu was helpless and could not return back. Chakravyuh was made by Drona, Kripacharya, Ashwathama, Karna, Duryodhan, Dushashan and Shakuni. Still Abhimanyu bravely entered the Chakravyuh created by Kauravas. During the war of Pandavas against Kauravas, he informed this to others. Half knowledge can be dangerousĪbhimanyu had half knowledge of Chakravyuh. Shakuni’s revenge consumed a civilization and even he died. His resolution of taking revenge destroyed the Kuru clan. Shakuni caused hatred of Kauravas towards Pandavas. He filled Duryodhan with these thoughts from his childhood. Shakuni wanted Gandhari to be queen, so he instigated Dhritarashtra to become king. He poisoned the minds of Dhritarashtra, Duryodhan and Dushashan. Shakuni wanted to take revenge from Hastinapur as he was unhappy with his sister Gandhari’s marriage to Dhritarashtra. That’s why he felt he can do whatever he wants. He was proud of his father being the king of Hastinapur. He was always proud of his father and brothers. Duryodhan did not think of what is right. His greed for becoming the king made him choose wrong methods. Pride leads to destructionĭuryodhan’s desire for the throne of Hastinapur led him to adharma. Then Krishna explained him about how a person should remain committed to duty. At the beginning of war between Pandavas and Kauravas, Arjun was hesitating to participate in the war. Krishna told Arjun to be dutiful in challenging times. We are born with dharma and have to perform our duties in every situation. Dharma is our duty and is of ethical nature. He said that dharma is not just an institutional religion.
Krishna told Arjun that dharma is rigid as well as flexible. He explained Arjun about dharma by opening his mouth and showing the entire cosmos. Lord Krishna said that one must perform his or her duty. I assume that you know the story of Mahabharat, so I am going to mention the lessons that we learn from it.
